Rules
This is golf, you have to expect a lot of rules. It’s Texas Scramble. Each player should count at least three drives.
Shotgun Stop
Golf is a great sport. However, no one said you have to be out there until it gets dark. That’s why we are having a SHOTGUN STOP. This is a half day of fun to benefit the homeless not The Masters. Therefore at 5:00 PM please finish the hole you are on and then come in for dinner and prizes. Dinner will start at 5:45 sharp and we plan on everything being completed by 7:00 PM at the latest. We respect your gift of time today so we want to get you on your way as soon as possible.
When you return to clubhouse for dinner, please turn in your scorecard asap for possible prizes.
Skill
Not always as important as a pencil with an eraser, but skill will be rewarded. Test your putting in the Rogers Putting Challenge on the practice green. Royal Bank will have hole in one prizes ranging from $10,000 in cash, to a golf vacation to golf clubs. Hole #6 will be longest drive in the fairway for men and women, and you will be able to challenge the PRO. on #11.
Please note – There will be no fees or additional charges on the course today. The only optional charge is for the “Emergency Golf Kit” Mulligan package which you can purchase prior to playing. For $25.00 you will qualify to participate in the Putting Contest, Beat the Pro, and the Window of Hope contest. Not to mention the fact that you will receive a sleeve of golf balls, tee holder, coupons for a snack and a non alcoholic beverage from the food cart, three mulligans and some other goodies as well.
